Giving blood, and care
The Red Cross is an international humanitarian organisation — non-religious, non-political and non-sectarian. The Youth Red Cross, part of the Indian Red Cross Society, was inaugurated at PMC Tech in 2008.
The Blood Donors’ Club
Donating blood is the unit’s first aim. Its Blood Donors’ Club groups donors’ blood and runs the donation camps — on average, 80 to 100 units of blood are given every month.
