For the past 30 years, I have had the privilege of being part of the academic journey of thousands of students at PMC Tech, Er. Perumal Manimekalai Group of Institutions.

This rewarding journey has been dedicated to promoting academic excellence, professional growth and holistic development. I firmly believe that education should empower students with knowledge, skills, integrity, confidence and a passion for lifelong learning.

I am proud to have witnessed the transformation of young learners into successful professionals and responsible citizens. The achievements of our students are a reflection of their dedication, the commitment of our faculty and the institution’s continuous pursuit of quality education.

How the college is governed

Who is responsible for what, as the institution’s own handbooks set it out, followed by the handbooks and policies themselves.

    The management of the group sets the policies by which the college works, such as its HR Manual, and revises them as needs change.

    Leads all academic and administrative work in line with the norms of AICTE, Anna University and the Government of Tamil Nadu — including the UG, PG and PhD programmes, faculty appointments, placement, research and consultancy, and the quality management system under NAAC and ISO.

  • Heads of department

    Each is responsible for the academic affairs of their department: its teaching, its research and publications, and its collaborations with other institutions and with industry.

  • Internal Quality Assurance Cell

    Constituted by the Principal in March 2017 under NAAC guidelines, the IQAC meets periodically to recommend ways of strengthening the college’s work across the seven criteria that NAAC assesses.
