About PMC Tech
Er. Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering — PMC Tech — is an autonomous college of engineering, technology and management in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Established in 2002, it belongs to the group of institutions that Er. P. Perumal founded in 1996.
Who we are
Engineering, technology and management at Hosur
PMC Tech offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fourteen academic departments, on a 50-acre campus beside the Hosur–Krishnagiri highway. The college is approved by AICTE, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. Since the academic year 2023–24 it has been autonomous, setting its own curriculum and examinations.
It is part of the PMC Tech Group of Institutions, founded by Er. P. Perumal under the Er. Perumal Manimekalai Telugu Minority Educational and Charitable Trust. The group was established to promote academic and professional excellence: to shape young talent into “technology and management leaders of tomorrow”, and to instil in them “professional ethics, cultural values, sensitivity and sense of service towards society”.

Er. P. Perumal founded the PMC Tech Group of Institutions in Hosur in 1996. Its four institutions between them offer education at every level, from school to postgraduate study.
