Vision

To be a Centre of excellence by imparting quality education with innovative teaching, research and practical exposure in the domain of Mechatronics for the development of knowledge society.

Mission

Skill Enhancement Training

    PCB Design and Fabrication

    Innovate Engineering Products, Hosur, 16–26 September 2025; a 10-day programme for second-year students. It focused on circuit schematic design, PCB layout creation, simulation and testing using Proteus software, and on PCB fabrication processes such as etching, drilling, soldering and troubleshooting.

    Robot Basics and Operations through Teach Pendant – Industrial Welding Robot Applications

    In collaboration with the Centre of Excellence Robotics by SVAIC, 25 September – 6 October 2025; a 5-day programme for final-year students. It gave practical knowledge of industrial robotics, robot programming and the welding automation used in modern manufacturing industries.

  • Drone Technology

    NITTTR, 3–7 November 2025; a 3-day programme for second- and third-year students. Hands-on sessions in drone assembling, dismantling and flying covered the structural components of drones, system integration, maintenance procedures and safe flight operations.

    EV and Soft Skill Training

    GTT Foundation, 7 October – 7 November 2025; a 20-day programme for final-year students. It covered EV fundamentals, battery systems, motor drives, charging technology and maintenance practices, along with communication skills, teamwork, aptitude and interview preparation.

    Aptitude Skill & Interview Skill Training

    9–12 December 2025; a 4-day programme for final-year students. It focused on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, resume preparation and interview techniques, with mock tests, group discussions and personal interview sessions.

  • Total Productive Maintenance & TPM Practices Training

    Bajaj Management Systems, 9–11 February 2026; a 3-day programme for third-year students. It focused on the principles of preventive maintenance, equipment efficiency, workplace productivity and continuous improvement practices, including TPM pillars, autonomous maintenance, safety standards and loss reduction techniques.

    Communication & Interview Skill Training

    Campus Connections, 23–27 March 2026; a 4-day programme for third-year students. It focused on communication techniques, group discussions, resume preparation, aptitude development and interview strategies, with mock interviews, presentation activities and confidence-building sessions.

    A value added course for second-year students, conducted by TANCAM using CATIA software. It focuses on product design concepts, 3D modelling, assembly design, drafting and industrial design applications.

    Technical Skill Development on PLC/SCADA/HMI

    SVAIC, 15–20 April 2026; a 5-day programme for third-year students. The sessions focused on PLC programming, SCADA monitoring systems and HMI interface design used for process control and industrial operations, with real-time applications, troubleshooting exercises and practical demonstrations.
